William Hoy Keyworth, 71, of Yale, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 23, 2025, in the comfort of his home with family by his side.

He was born in Yale, Michigan, August 31, 1954, the son of the late Wesley and Helen (Tripp) Keyworth.

His marriage to Robin Rick was May 3, 1980, at Cole United Methodist Church.

Bill was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures and the people he loved most. Nothing made him happier than cheering on his grandkids at their sporting events, where his pride and support were always on full display.

Some of Bill's happiest times were spent at the family cabin, where he enjoyed countless weekends surrounded by loved ones. The cabin was a place of laughter, friendship, and relaxation, and Bill treasured the memories made there with family and friends over the years. He was a devoted fan of Michigan football, the Detroit Lions, and the Detroit Tigers, faithfully following his teams through every season. He also enjoyed participating in fantasy football, even if his record didn't always reflect his enthusiasm.

At home, Bill could often be found out in his garden or keeping an eye on the birds sipping coffee on the deck. Bill will be remembered for his love of family, his humor, and the many passions that filled his days. His presence will be deeply missed but his spirit will continue to live on in the memories of all who knew and loved him.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Robin; two daughters, Lisa (Dale) Scribner and Katherine (Ken) Cramb; a son, Chad (Jaimie); six grandchildren, Amber (Jake) Bitterman, Brady, Zackary and Delaney Scribner and Elizabeth and William Cramb; great-grandson, Hayes Bitterman; siblings, LuAnn Stafford, Chuck (Della) Keyworth, Priscilla (Gerald) Foote, Thomas (Lisa) Keyworth and Glenn (Toni) Keyworth; sisters-in-law, Patti Koskinen, Janelle (Jerry) Hall, Jean Ann (Sirios) Svolopoulos; brother-in-law, Richard Langtry as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.

He is predeceased by, his parents; in-laws, Eugene (Janet) Fielden and Elmer (Donna) Rick; brother-in-law, Charles Stafford, sister-in-law, Julie Langtry; nephews Derek Stafford and Cory Koskinen.

The family honors the memory of Bill and invites you to visit and share memories Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Julie Cramer, pastor of Cole Church, will officiate. Burial will be in McFadden Cemetery, Brockway Twp.
