William Michael "Mike" LaCoste

Mike passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026 at his residence in Fowl River, Alabama surrounded by family. Mike was Born June 21, 1948 in Mobile Alabama to (late) Robert William "Bill' and Theresa LaCoste.

Mike was an Army Veteran, he received an Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Bronze Star Medal. He was a Proud supporter of the men and women in uniform.

Mike loved hunting and fishing and did so often with family and friends. He enjoyed sitting around the table with his family and friend and sharing memories. Going to the hunting camp to track a big buck or fishing off the gulf coast to catch a big King was one of his favorite things. He made time for his children and his grandchildren. Football Games, Races, Dance Recitals, Archery, you name it he was there to show his support. He made memories with his family. He was quick to lend a hand and was always ready to enjoy a meal or a cold beer with his friends.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Susan. His children David (Kenee), Kathy (Shaun) and Kelly (Lenny) and his grandchildren, Troy, Seth, Aden(Kenee), Makayla and Patrick(Kelly), Breanna(Kathy).

Mike was preceded in death by his grandson David M.(Kathy).

Funeral services will be held From the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 12 Noon. The family will receive friends from 10:30am until service time Monday at the funeral home.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him and remembered for his profound impact on the lives he touched.
