William C. LaForge, 67, of Freehold passed away at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. He was born in Neptune Township and was a lifelong Freehold resident.

He was a graduate of Freehold Borough High School.

Bill was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Freehold Fin, Fur, and Feather Club, Turkey Swamp Gun Club, and B.P.O.E. No 1454, Freehold.

He was predeceased by his parents, John A. and Charlotte Hammerstone LaForge; a brother, John LaForge, Jr.; and a stepson, Lonnie D. Gray, Jr.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara LaForge; a son, William C. LaForge Jr.; two daughters, Jennie Davis and husband Nicholas and Rebecca Fowlkes and husband Dwayne; his stepchildren, Allison Messer, Jill Malone, and Ryan Gray; two sisters, Barbara Parentau and Lee Crate; his grandchildren, Quincy Davis, Makel Davis, Jacob, Charles, Oliver, Jackson, Benjamin, and Ariellejoy LaForge, and Kyra and Xavier Fowlkes; and many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 1 to 4 p.m. Freehold Fin Fur and Feather Club services will be held at 3 p.m.
