William “Bill” Mallady, 65, tragically passed away November 6th 2025. He is leaving behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and generosity. Born August 22, 1960, Bill was the son of Maryland and Patricia Mallady. He was a caring brother to Marlyn, Wesley, and Debra. Bill lived nearly his entire life in Saint Charles, where he met the love of his life Shari. Bill and Shari were married in 1984 and had three children. He was a devoted father to Kim, Bryan, and Mattie. He was a loving father-in-law to Josh and Sarah. He took great pride in being “Grandpa” to Corlaee, Henry, William, and Jack, all who brought immense joy to his life. Bill was able to find a loving companionship with Arlene Andresen to spend his last few years with exploring new adventures and endless car shows. Bill worked as a local semi-truck driver for over 35 years most recently with his ABF brothers. Bill was a man of many talents, but it was his charisma and warm spirit that made him unforgettable. He had a natural gift for making friends wherever he went. Bill had several passions in life including spending time with loved ones, handy work, fishing, car shows, working on his truck (Gracy), leading a helping hand, and making moonshine. All things that had earned him his many nicknames: Billy the kid, Wild Bill, Hot-rod Bill, Brother Bill, and Moonshine man.
Bill is survived by his children: Kim (Josh) Hendricks, Bryan (Sarah) Mallady, Mattie Mallady; grandchildren: Coralee and Henry Hendricks, William and Jack Mallady; sister Debra (Dan) Isham, and many nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered as a funny, generous, and charming man who never hesitated to offer kindness, laughter, and most of all advice. His presence made the world a brighter place but now he has taken the road to heaven. Bill is now reunited with his wife Shari Mallady, parents, and his two siblings: Wes and Marlyn.
