William was born in Flint, Michigan on December 2, 1957, the son of William and Maxine (Thiel) Mason. Together with his father, they owned and operated M&M Pump in Flushing. William was a people person, the life of the party who lived life to the fullest and loved making everyone feel happy. He enjoyed spending time camping at the Otter Lake Campground. He just celebrated 13 years of sobriety and was proud of that accomplishment. His greatest joy was being a father and grandfather.
William is survived by his sons, William (Abby), Ryan (Lashay); grandchildren, Marissa, Malichi, Esme; brothers, Mike (Patty) Mason, Mark (Debbie); and former spouse, Kim Donnelly. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Steven.
