William Roger Maxey

William "Bill" Roger Maxey of Red Bank, TN passed away on Friday, January 30, 2025 at CHI Memorial Hospital in Hixson. Bill was born in Fort Smith, AR to the late William and Katherine Shields Maxey. During his life, Mr. Maxey served his country as a proud member of the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He later worked as a respiratory therapist for Health South, and was a Freemason with Red Bank Lodge 717. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Maxey; and four sisters, Mary Sue Darnell, Karen Maxey, Nancy Maxey, and Judy Maxey. He is survived by one son, Jacob Maxey (Meredith); one brother, Donald Maxey; one sister, Debra Nawrocki; and one granddaughter, Claudia Grace Maxey. Visitation for Mr. Maxey will be held on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025 from 5:00-7:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home.
