William (Jim) J. Merrihew, 64, of Colonie passed away at Albany Medical Center on Friday October 3, 2025. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Ralph and Ada (Parmalee) Merrihew.
He was employed in maintenance for Market 32.
William was passionate about the gym, classic rock and the New York Giants. The apple of his eye was his grandson, Sterling.
He is survived by his daughter Christie Archer (Thomas), his brothers Michael Merrihew (Michelle) of Florida, and Robert Merrihew (Rene) of Delanson, his sisters Sharon Jewett (Late Donald) of Lynchburg, Va., Sandra Merrihew (Late Ralph), Debbie Labier of Schenectady and several nieces and nephews. And his grandson Sterling Archer.
A Celebration of William’s life will be on Saturday October 18, 2025, from 1-3PM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.
