William J. "Bill" Miller, 65, of Clearwater, FL, and formerly of Poland, died suddenly on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Tampa General Hospital.

Bill was born on March 13,1960, in Herkimer, a son of the late Ezra & Catherine (Brown) Miller. He was a 1978 graduate of Poland Central School. He continued his education at HCCC & Albany Business College. He was currently employed by Chadwell Supply in Tampa as an international purchasing agent. Bill grew up playing soccer, basketball & especially baseball. He enjoyed living in Florida and played baseball up until last year. Bill had friends wherever he lived, he leaves friends from New York to Florida and back again. His family was always amazed by how many people he knew.

Bill is survived by his sister, Mary Lou (John) Cavanaugh of Ilion; a nephew, Matthew Cavanaugh of Marcy; a niece, Samantha (Chris) Campione of Oneida; a great-nephew, Luca; a great-niece, Quinn; and several cousins of the Miller family. He was predeceased by his father in 1979 and his mother in 1991.

Bill will be laid to rest with his parents in Poland Cemetery later this summer. Local arrangements are entrusted to the Autenrith Funeral Home, Newport.
