Austin was a US Korean Army Veteran, member of the Marlinton Church of God, an Electronic Security specialist for Kastle System LLC, and an avid hunter.
Other than his parents Austin was preceded in death by a grandson Thomas "TJ" Shafer, and two brothers Albert and Alavadore Morgan.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Barbara Workman Morgan, sons, William Aaron Morgan and wife Glenda of Stafford, VA, and Kenneth Edward Morgan and wife Alicia of Keedysville, MD, grandchildren, Taylor Morgan, Brittney Morgan, Samatha Dunmore, Piper Morgan, Kristin Shafer, Rilee Palmer, and Ianna Palmer, one great grandson, Charlie Aryn Dunmore, one sister, Janet Carter of Md, three brothers Arlie Morgan and wife Maggie of Arbovale, Roger Morgan and wife Wanda of Covington, and Randall Morgan and wife Dorothy of Hillsboro, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Tuesday April 22, 2025, at the Marlinton Church of God with Pastor Reverend Fred Goldizen officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro with Military Graveside services.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
