William Gregory Mullett, affectionately known as Bill, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025, in West Jordan, Utah, after a short yet valiant battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and generosity. He was born on April 21, 1949, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and generosity.
Throughout his life, Bill served proudly in the United States Air Force, dedicating himself to the service of his country. After his military career, he became a devoted temple worker at the Jordan River Temple, contributing his time and efforts to the community.
Bill was known for his warm and welcoming personality. He had an innate ability to connect with others and was always willing to help anyone in need. His spirit of generosity left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
In addition to his service and community work, Bill had a variety of interests that brought him joy. He loved to crochet and knit, creating handmade treasures that reflected his creativity and care. He also cherished spending time outdoors, particularly on walks with his beloved dog, Bella.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Elaine. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie; father, Joseph; and his brothers and sisters.
As we remember Bill, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, service, and a profound generosity of spirit. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to know him.
A memorial service will be arranged at a later date.
