William "Bill" Jesse Nagle, a loving husband, father and grandfather, 85, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Lansing Care and Rehabilitation Center in Lansing, Kansas.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, February 4, from 10:30 AM to 12 noon at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation at noon. Bill will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas.

Bill was born on November 27, 1940. He grew up in Fairview, Missouri and graduated from Wheaton High School. He later moved to Kansas City and worked for Kansas City Structural Steel, Graves Truck Line and Graham Truck Line, where he was a hostler at Hallmark in Leavenworth, Ks. He was a dedicated member of Teamsters Local 41.

Beyond his professional life, Bill was a man of many passions and simple joys. He enjoyed spending time with livestock and his grandkids who were part of the 4H, at the Wyandotte County Fair. He also was an active member of the Kansas City Woodworking Guild where he found satisfaction in crafting scroll saw items. Over the years, Bill gave handmade gifts to many family members and friends. Bill also enjoyed trips to the casino, relishing the excitement of playing slot machines. He was a fan of college basketball and the Kansas City Chiefs. In his quieter moments, he found comfort in watching classic Western movies.

Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Esther Siler and his stepson Joey Schweinfurth.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 24 years, Vivian "Babe" Nagle of the home. Bill's legacy continues through his six children: Willie Nagle (Kim) of Kansas City, Kansas; Beth Myers (Dave) of Kansas City, Kansas; Michelle Nagle of Kansas City, Kansas; Tammy Skubal (Chris) of Kansas City, Kansas; Cathy Petersen of Leavenworth County and Theresa Nagle of Kansas City, Kansas. He also leaves behind two stepsons, Lloyd Schweinfurth of Bolivar, Missouri, and Chris Schweinfurth (Minerva Torras) of Gladstone, Missouri. His memory will be cherished by his 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. Bill's warmth, dedication, and love for his expansive family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
