William Dustin Nicholson born August 8, 1973 to his late parents, William T. and Debra Lynn Nicholson. He passed away at home in the early morning hours of June 3, 2023 from COPD complications with his wife Laura by his side. His grandparents, William S. and Vessie Lorene Nicholson, along with his beloved sister, Melissa Suzanne Nicholson, preceded him in death. Left to celebrate his life are his daughters - Delina, Cadence, Everleigh, Amelia and Aubrey - and sons - William A. and Christopher P. Nicholson. He adored and loved each and every one of his beautiful children. He was blessed with a special bonus grandson, Braxton, and a beautiful granddaughter, Jessalee in 2022. He was so proud of Lina and Jess, and Bubba. He was always showing off photos and boasting about being a grandpa. He was brother to Mathew and Daniel and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. His wife Laura was always flitting about trying to take care of everyone doing as much as she could for them. William never let a day go by without telling her she was beautiful and he often joked about her having house Crocs and going to town Crocs. He found humor in everything, good and bad. William and Laura spent miles and miles traveling between Arkansas and Idaho sightseeing and forging a wonderful life together. A love story full of trials and tribulations but like none other. William was truly a one-of-a-kind guy.
Here are a few words from his wife, Laura.
If you knew my husband, you knew he loved a good joke. Or a good scare. His favorite thing to do was sneak up on me while I was cleaning or working. I usually wear headphones so of course it works. I hate how much I came to love it. And his jokes always had me laughing hysterically. Mostly raunchy, crude jokes that should never be spoken. But that was William. He was the 8th William in the Nicholson family. His oldest son William is the 9 th. How cool is that? A pretty cool legacy I'd say. Growing up, William and his family faced much adversity. His veteran father, William T. led a good life after returning from Vietnam but that life unfortunately led to a dark road. The eventual loss of William's parents early in life taught him valuable lessons in life and love. It taught him who to hold close to his heart and care for the most. I love him so much and he will be missed more than he ever could have known. 1-4-3 handsome! Until we meet again. Be free, my darling man.
