John Bernard Chenault passed away peacefully at his home on October 4th after an extended 20 year battle with Multiple Myeloma and then with Leukemia.
He was born May 3rd, 1949 in Little Rock, AR to John Ralph Chenault and Sarah Meek Chenault. John is survived by his sister, Starr Chenault Boschetti (Mike) and a brother, Lawrence Ralph Chenault as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
John was a graduate of Highland Park High School (University Park, Dallas, TX) and received his BFA from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX.
Growing up, he enjoyed his parent's place in the country near Terrell, TX where he enjoyed raising cattle specializing in Charolais cattle and the peacefulness country life brought. In the summer months while in college, he worked on a Charolais ranch near Fortney TX. After graduation he worked in the office for the same Charolais Ranch in Terrell, TX. Following his ranching tears, he worked at Dallas Federal Savings in Dallas before moving to Little Rock.
John loved country life, photography, estate sales/auctions. He also spent time volunteering for candidates at the local and national levels. He especially loved spending time with his dogs including his last two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Harper and Willow.
