Bill devoted nearly 40 years to a career in law enforcement, serving as Gonzales City Police Chief and holding positions with Lavaca County and the Moulton Police Department. He was also an avid gun enthusiast throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Wynoka Chenault, and his brother, John Chenault. He is survived by his son James (Ashley) Chenault of Gonzales, and granddaughters, Kaeleigh and Katherine Chenault.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm on October 31, 2025 in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Friday, October 31, 2025 in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Josh Breslaw officiating.
