William C. Opfer

William "Bill" Opfer, age 80, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on the morning of December 7, 2025. Bill is survived by his former wife of 45 years, Sandra Opfer, and was the beloved father of Bryan Opfer (Katie), Justin Opfer (Alyssa) and Derrick Opfer. He was the devoted Pop-Pop of Emery, who brought him immense joy. Bill is predeceased by his mother, Helen Marie Rudd. Born and raised in Camden, New Jersey, Bill moved to Mt. Laurel in 1974, where he settled and started a family, building a career in the automotive industry. When not working, Bill enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time in the yard or around the koi pond. He will be remembered for his deep love for his family, friends, and pets of all kinds, his sharp sense of humor, and the lasting impact he left on everyone who knew him. His presence, generosity, and steady warmth will be deeply missed.
