William Henry Peacock

Mr. William Henry (W.H.) Peacock, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 12, 2025 at Hardy – Towns Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, February 13, 2025 at 11:00 am in the chapel at Hardy – Towns Funeral Home with Rev. Myron Parkerson officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Branch Cemetery.

Mr. Peacock was born on Christmas Day in 1950 to the late Myrtice Coleman and Henry J. Peacock. He was a member of Freedom Worship and served as a Gideon for many years. As a young man, he served in Army during the Vietnam War and earned several degrees in business and theological counselling. He had a productive and valued career with Ocmulgee EMC and eventually retired as General Manager. In this role, he had numerous accomplishments. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on F-100 pickup trucks, tractors, and cattle.

Mr. Peacock is survived by his wife, Elizabeth L. Peacock; his children, Amanda Ray (Ritchie), Jason Collins (Kela), and Mackennen Collins (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Alexus Ray, Addison Ray, Jake Collins, Kalaney Collins, Ava Collins, Riley Collins, and Emma Collins; his brother, Larry Peacock; and his sister-in-law, Judy Peacock.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Peacock is predeceased by his brother, Gary Peacock.
