William Purcell, 53 of Pittsboro, Indiana, passed away in his home on April 20, 2025. William was born on June 26, 1971, in Danville, Indiana, to parents William and Sherry Purcell. He graduated from Brownsburg High School and attended Vincennes University. He was a forklift driver but a musician at heart, playing guitar and writing original songs were some of his passions. William also enjoyed the outdoors and was a fisherman and motorcyclist, although sometimes he would trade riding a motorcycle for a dirt bike. He had a heart for animals, especially dogs, and served as a Deacon for Danville Christian Church.
Friends and family will gather on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home, for a time of visitation from 10 am to 12 pm, with the celebration of William's life beginning at 12 pm. William will be laid to rest in Brownsburg Cemetery following the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Danville Christian Church in honor of William Purcell.
All are encouraged to keep William's family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time of loss.
