William Randall “Randy” Riddle of Greer, SC went to his heavenly home on Sunday, February 16.
He was born in Tryon, NC on August 5, 1961. In his youth, Randy excelled in baseball, football, and basketball. He won many championships and earned the honorable award of MVP. Randy enjoyed time spent with his family including family dinners, shopping trips with his sister and birthday celebrations. Randy was known for and maintained his sense of humor through this time.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Riddle. He is survived by his mother, Hazel Parris Riddle, and sister, Donna R. Monroe. He is survived by three nieces: Anna (Ben) Parham, Meredith Dale, and Rebecca Moates, one nephew: Joseph (Amber) Monroe, nine great nieces and nephews, whom he lovingly adored, and a special family friend, Frances Welborn.
Randy held a special place in his heart for his Ridgeview Community Care Home family, where he resided for over 30 years.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at the J.M. Dunbar Funeral Home, 690 Southport Rd. Roebuck, SC 29376. Service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of choice.
