William Thomas Rimler passed away on June 22, 2024 at the age of 65. Known affectionately as Uncle Booboo and Wolf, William was a beam of supportive warmth in the lives of many. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he carried the love for his city throughout his life, always remaining a loyal resident. William was a man of strength and determination, a pillar in the face of adversity. As the saying goes, "A river cuts through a rock not because of its power, but its persistence." William personified this quality, his resilience was his power.
William found joy in the simple pleasures of life; the thrill of Fantasy Football, the adrenaline of NASCAR, but above all, he cherished his family and football. As a Production Manager from H&R Supply, he carried his professional experience into his hobbies, strategizing his Fantasy Football team with the precision of a seasoned manager. He was a man who believed in the bonds of family, and his love for football wasn't merely a pastime, but a tradition he shared with his loved ones. William, with his supportive nature, embodied this spirit of unity and teamwork, both on and off the field.
William is survived by his father, William Rimler, brothers Brian Rimler and his wife Mandy and Stephen Rimler and his wife Kelly, sons Danny and his wife Lauren Rimler, Tommy and his wife Samantha Rimler, grandchildren Emmett, Maeve, Josephine, and Vivanne, nephews Kyle, Kevin, Brandon, Landon, and Ryan Rimler, nieces Amanda, Priscilla, Amaya, and his great nephews Roman and Saint. His mother, Shirley Rimler, preceded him in death.
Relatives and friends may greet his family on Monday, July 1, 2024, from 9:30 am - 10:15 am at St. Jerome's Church 8100 Colfax Street, Philadelphia, PA 19136, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
We encourage you to share your fondest memories of William on his memorial page. Upload photos that capture his resilient spirit, his supportive nature, and his loyal heart. As we remember William, let us celebrate his life and the love he had for us all. Let his memory inspire us to be as resilient, supportive, and loyal as he was.
