William "Braden" Roberson 18, of Camden, was called home to be with the Lord on July 24. Braden was born in Camden, Jan. 24, 2007, the first child of Eva Barrett and Joey Roberson.

Braden was set to graduate from Connections Academy in Dec. 2025.

He loved music, food, family, friends, and the many friends that he made family. He loved making music with his friends and family. He had a big heart and loved helping people. He was always bringing home a kid that needed a little help in life and was determined to give them that —even if it meant he would have less. His loyalty to those he loved was unmatched to anything seen on this earth.

He was preceded in death by his little sister, Brooklann Roberson; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Ann Wilson; his paternal bonus grandmother, Terrie Roberson; his maternal aunt, Megan McRae; his maternal grandfather, Mike Barrett; his maternal great-grandmother, Eva Barrett; and his paternal great-grandfather, David Bugh. He was also proceeded in death by a dear friend, Randy (RJ) Madison. He made a song, "I'm Sorry" in memory of Randy.
Braden is survived by his mother, Eva (EJ) Barrett and bonus dad, Jared Green; father, William (Joey) Roberson, bonus moms to his siblings, Abby Rowlin and Katie Ponder, all of South West Arkansas. Also surviving are his grandparents, Opal and Bobby Bradley; Kenny Roberson; and Doyle Vaughan; bonus grandparents, Donna Barrett; Adrian and Laurel Green; Vivian Golden; and great grandmother Marie Bugh. Other survivors include his aunts and uncles, Ashley Whitelaw-Butts (Sam), Deana Friend, Michelle Barrett (Destiny), Danica Blackwood (Jimmy), Jessica McRae, Cory Fitzgerald, Perry Fitzgerald (Lauren), Amberly Nowlin (Billy), Kyle Alsobrook, and Kirk Alsobrook; bonus aunt and uncle, Jodi and Allen McCain; his paternal younger siblings, Kayden, Velyzza, Kayne, and Fancy Roberson; and his bonus siblings, Savannah, Seth and Laurel Green.

If you asked Braden to write this obituary, he would tell you his cousins Myah and Johnnie Friend, Luke Butts, Skyler Green, Madison Baker, Alex Alsobrook, Cody Fitzgerald, Colten Jones, Daniel Stafford and Kayli Shuler were his brothers and sisters, too. He would also tell you that Holly and Lance Elliot, Shawn and Bryan Meadows, Doug and Jonie Bradshaw, Jessica and Jayme Lester, Amber Durham and Justin Jenkins were his aunts and uncles.
Braden had many friends he viewed as brothers, also: Ashton Benton, Skip Hildebrand, Camden Layne, Austin Bradford, Levell Davis, Ted Hurley, Ethan Thompson, Braylon Garcia and JaKoby Barnes were among them.

In his heart, family was more than blood or marriage. Many more relatives, cousins and friends will forever feel the void of his absence. Braden didn't see money, color or status in people. He saw the love in people and nothing else mattered to him. Love and loyalty is what he gave, and that is all he ever wanted in return. Now he is heaven and feels nothing but what he always tried to give—love!

A service will be held  on August 29th at 6:30 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 2880 Fairview Rd SW in Camden, Arkansas 71701.
