                     Mr. William Darrell Robertson, 66 of Mount Airy NC, passed away Friday February 06, 2026, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice home in Dobson NC. Darrell was born in Forsyth County on October 22,1959 to the late Charlie Martin Robertson, Sr and the late Beulah Sechriest Robertson Moore. Darrell was a loving fiancé, father, "papa", brother and friend to so many. 

                     Darrell was survived by a loving fiancé Sharon Mills, A son Jacob Robertson and two daughters and son in laws: Adrean (Tony) Chabot Ashley (Ishaq) Hussain. Special Daughters Robin Mills, Janet (Cody) Angel, Crissy (Mark) Ransdell. five grandchildren William Chabot, Matthew Chabot, Zachary Chabot, Lucas Chabot and Jack Moretta. Three special grandchildren David Ransdell, Jordyn Ransdell, and Avery Angel. Also, one sister, Judy Salgado, two brothers and sister-in-law Larry Robertson, Tim (Renee) Robertson and one sister-in-law Shelia Robertson. Darrell is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and numerous cousins.

                    Darrell enjoyed spending time with his family, He also loved his daily trips for coffee and conversation with his waffle house family and special friends "Leroy and Ron". He loved camping, hunting and fishing. He served in the US ARMY. He graduated from Montreat College with a bachelor's degree in software engineering. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew him.       

                            He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Charlie Martin Robertson Jr., one sister Deborah Jean Robertson Clark.

                                  A  "Celebration of Life" will be held at Moodys Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Pastor Dale Bass will be the officiant. 

                In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Joan and Howard Woltz hospice home in Dobson NC.
