WINGDALE - William J. Seabring, 78, a resident of the Hudson Valley for over 25 years, died peacefully at home on September 11, 2025. He previously lived in the Bronx.

Born at Fordham Hospital in the Bronx on May 10, 1947, William was the son of the late William and Octavia (Hart) Seabring. He retired from the United States Post Office in New York City where he worked for 37 years.

William enjoyed watching the Bold and the Beautiful. He visited the East Fishkill Senior Center every week, and enjoyed eating out especially at Brothers Trattoria in Poughquag. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family.

William is survived by his nephew, Charles James Seabring, Jr. and his wife Amy; his great-nephew, Christian Seabring; his great-niece; Ariana Seabring; his cousins, Anthony and Carol Quaid and George Quaid, Denise Santangello, and Marie, Debbie, and Jimmy Stitzel; his sister-in-law Cathy Seabring; his Goddaughter, Shannon Quaid; and his great-cousins, Meaghan Quaid, Nicholas Quaid, and Anthony Hart.

In addition to his parents, William was predeceased by his brother, Charles J. Seabring, Sr.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14th from 2 - 5 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10 am followed by burial at Clove Cemetery.
