William Fred Sealey, age 82, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born in Clay County, KY, he was the son of the late Herman Alan Sealey and Virginia Lewis Proffitt.
In the heart of William, faith and family were intertwined as the core pillars of his life, a testament to the loving and generous soul he was. His unwavering faith was not just confined within himself; it was a beacon that guided his family, friends, and everyone who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him. A devout member of Oak Grove Baptist Church for 54 years, his steadfast faith was a shining example of dedication and love towards the divine.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mark Alan Sealey; sisters, Marilyn Kenworthy and Mary "Sug" Stivers; and brothers, Roger Simons and Murl R. Simons, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lena Sealey; daughters, Debbie Kuhl (Rodney) and Sandy Hensley (Ric); grandchildren, Kayla Hart (Josh), Marcus Kuhl (Becca), Tanna Hensley (fiancé Avery), Gracie Hensley, Ben Hensley, and Mack Hensley; great-grandchildren, Harper Hart, Scarlett Hart, and Owen Kuhl; three sisters, Diana, Rosetta, and Loretta; and two brothers, David and Hayward.
Visiation will be held from 12-1pm on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will follow at 1pm with Rev. Tony Jackson and Pastor Vernon Morris officiating.
Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin, KY.
