William is survived by his spouse Fay Spargo, his 2 daughters Arwen Spargo (Portland OR) and Ariel Spargo (Troy NY), Bill's sister Candy Spargo Lansing (Latham NY), nieces Lisa and Lori Lansing (Latham NY) and many grand and great grand nieces and nephews. Bill worked for over 30 for the NYS Department of Health in Albany but it was his favorite past times that defined the person he was. He was a man with eclectic interests. He became the Julia Childs of the family, the Arnold Palmer among his buddies, the jockey riding his chosen horse from starting gate to finish line at Saratoga, the offensive coach of "HIS" NY Giants from his recliner, and even ventured out in blizzards to go ice fishing. His diverse interests caused his daughters to incorporate
his entire persona by simply labeling him as "Daddy-My-Maddy". He also had many friends who shared his various interests.
