William Specht Obituary
William was born in Passaic, NJ, to William and Helen Specht. A graduate of Pequannock High School and Fairleigh Dickinson University, he was a manager at the Singer-Kearfott Corporation for 43 years, retiring in 2010. During retirement he enjoyed buying, tinkering with, and selling a series of collector cars, particularly Jaguars and Corvettes, which he would rarely drive beyond the streets of Pequannock. He was also a loyal, life-long New York Giants fan.
William is survived by his son, William N. Specht and his wife Ellen, of West Milford, as well as grandchildren Kathleen and her husband Josh, Nicole and her husband Tommy, and Paul, as well as great-grandson Bryan. He was predeceased by his friend and companion Diane Limey.
Cremation and funeral services were private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Kidney Fund.
