William Worth “Billy” Stewart Jr., 72, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024. He was born on October 8, 1952, to the late William “Worth” and Evelyn Hudgens Stewart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Shepherd.

Billy was a member of Rockbridge Community Church. Prior to his retirement, Billy was employed by Fafnir Industries and Kerry Foods. He loved spending time outdoors, camping, and working in his shop. He dearly loved his family and was a loyal friend to many.

Billy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sherrie Stewart; sons and daughters-in-law, Jody (Amy) Stewart and Stacy (Jamee) Stewart; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby (Brenda) Shepherd; grandchildren, Luke (Hannah) Stewart, Zane Stewart, Clayton Stewart, Hannah Stewart, Ryan Stewart, and Carter Stewart.

A gathering of friends will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
