William Edward “Wes” Sautter, 43, of Frederick, MD passed away on December 4, 2025. Born July 15, 1982. He was the son of Dennis G. Sautter of Woodbine, MD and Charlotte Oswald of Spring Grove, PA.
Wes grew up in Woodbine, MD and attended South Carroll High School. For the last 13 years Wes worked for Creative Exterior Concepts in Gaithersburg, MD, serving as the companies Vice President. Wes had a passion for the outdoors, especially fishing. Countless hours were spent on the water, his favorite being Liberty Reservoir. He and his dad Dennis shared many outings together and developed a special bond. The two of them spent time installing equipment and making and painting fishing lures.
Wes also had you-tube channel and as of this date he has over 1,000 subscribers, where he readily shared fishing information, locations, techniques and baits, with all who needed help. He developed many friendships over the years, and he will be greatly missed.
Surviving in addition to his parents are paternal grandmother Aline Sautter of Woodbine, a sister Megan Ostrander & her husband Lance; his nephews Emil and Issac all of Rockville, MD.
Wes has an infectious smile and a personality that made him so very unique! He will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. at 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School) on Saturday, January 10, 2026, with a service at 1 PM and a gathering from 2-4 PM.
