William Takacs Obituary
WILLIAM E. TAKACS, age 91 of Bainbridge Twp. Beloved husband of Shirley F. (nee Hills) for 69 years; loving father of Jim (Lucia) Takacs, Debbie (Chris) Jeffers, and Denise (Mark) McCalla; and his four-legged child, Shadow. dearest grandfather of Michelle Takacs, Stephen Takacs, Alex Jeffers, Ryan Jeffers, Sarah McCalla, and Nicole McCalla; cherished brother of the late Donald and late Louis Takacs. Veteran, U.S. Army. Bill was one of the first certified mechanics in the Cleveland area. He was an editor of the newsletter of the Bainbridge Twp. Historical Society. Bill was a member of the Hungarian Club, an interim president at one time, and a member of the Dahlia Society. Friends and family are welcome to St. John Funeral Home, 16381 Chillicothe Rd, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023 on Wednesday, June 25 from 10 A.M. – 12 P.M. with a closing service at 12 noon. Burial to follow at Restland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Rd, Novelty, OH 44072 in memory of Bill.
