On March 16, 2026, William Stansbury Thayer, beloved husband of Barbara Irene Thayer (nee Jacobson); devoted father of William Thayer and his wife Monica, Steven Thayer and his wife Noreen McElhone, and Christine Thayer; loving grandfather of Daniel, Eric, Evan, Aidan, and Kieran Thayer; cherished great grandfather of Nathan and Austin Thayer; dear brother of Richard Thayer and his late wife Dorothy and the late John Thayer; brother in law of Mary Thayer.

Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26), on Wednesday, March 25th, from 1 to 3 PM, at which time a Funeral Service will begin. Interment private.
