William G. Toal, Sr., age 90, of Langhorne, PA, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025. Bill was a proud graduate of LaSalle University and a distinguished veteran who served in the U.S. Army. He had a remarkable career with ITT Nesbit and the U.S. Mint, earning the respect of colleagues for his work ethic, wisdom, and integrity. But it was his deep love for family and generous spirit that truly defined him.
Bill was the devoted husband of the late Dixie J. Toal and Joan C. Toal. He was a loving father to his children: William, Jr., Colleen (Bob), Brian, Sr. (Joanie), and Corinne (Chuck), as well as a caring stepfather to Gregory, Timothy (Laurie), Judith (David), and Roger. His legacy lives on in his grandchildren: Scott Jr., Bobby Jr., Jaclyn (Jordan), Brian Jr., Sydni, Ariel (Keith), Joshua, Meghaen (CJ), Jonathan (Brittany), and Patricia, and in his great-grandchildren, including Joanna, Jace (on the way), Audrey, Gabriella, Timothy, Joel, and Emory.
Bill was the son of the late John Sr. and Margaret Toal and was predeceased by his brothers John, Bernard, Donald, Duke, and Buddy, and his sister Maryanne. He is survived by his sister, Margaret (Sissy) and many nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom he cherished deeply.
A lifelong and passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan, Bill's love for his team was well-known. He found joy in sharing his thoughts, advice, and wisdom with all who crossed his path. Bill cherished his role as a grandfather and great-grandfather, offering guidance and encouragement, always making time to connect with his family.
Bill will be forever remembered for his loving heart, his sense of humor, and his unwavering dedication to his family. He will be missed beyond words, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for Bill's Life Celebration on February 11, 2025 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Dunn and Givnish Funeral Home, 378 South Bellevue Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047. His Funeral Service will follow at noon.
Burial will be private.
