William “Bill” Urban, of Collingdale, PA, a deeply cherished soul who touched the hearts of many, passed away on August 9, 2025, at the age of 68.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son on the late William and Helen (née Jamison) Urban.
Bill touched the lives of many with his great sense of humor and quick wit. He was known not just for his ability to make those around him laugh but also for his generosity. Bill was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Bill was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, with a particular passion and unwavering support for the Philadelphia Eagles. In addition to his love for sports, William enjoyed the tranquility of nature through hunting and fishing. These pursuits allowed him to connect with the world around him, offering precious moments of reflection and peace.
Many will remember Bill for his exceptional skills as a carpenter, where his creativity and craftsmanship shone, resulting in beloved pieces that were cherished by those around him.
Bill was the longtime partner of Lillian Iannarelli; the loving father of Jacqueline Fennell (Bill), Danielle Urban (Gregg), and William Urban (Lisa). He was the proud and caring grandfather of 8 grandchildren. Bill is also survived by his sisters, Linda Harder (Allen) and Shirley Chapman, and his brother, Darren Urban, as well as his 4 nephews and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to honor Bill at a Visitation on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, 9:30 am to 10:30 am at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by a Funeral Mass beginning at 10:30 am. Interment thereafter at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
