William (Bill) A. Wallace III, 78 of Wall, a loving husband, father and grandfather passed away at home on August 12, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born on December 4, 1946 in Newark, NJ. His family, Mr. and Mrs. William A. Wallace Jr. and sister, Linda Ann, moved from Nutley, NJ to the Jersey Shore when he was a young child.
He attended the Allenwood Elementary School, Central Elementary School, and graduated from Wall High School in 1964 as did his wife, Joyce Ann (Loesch) Wallace. After retiring from the Howell PD, he started an investigation company, Intrepid Investigations Inc., with former HTPD Detective, Gregory Parisi. At age 60 Bill retired.
Bill (Billy) was an avid softball player. He pitched for the HTPD softball team in the Jersey Shore Softball League for 44 years.
