William Glen Warner III

William Warner,III Obituary It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of W. Glen Warner III, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Glen passed away on March 24, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and dedication to those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Glen was born on April 29, 1977, to Joanne Warner-Eyler (nee Blevins) and the late W. Glen Warner, Jr. He grew up with a love of sports that would become a lifelong passion. Glen played football at Hereford High School, where he made a name for himself on and off the field. His talent and hard work earned him a spot at Harvard University, where he continued his football career and deepened his love for the game. He later played for the Baltimore Bulls, a semi-pro team where he built lifelong friendships and continued his love of competition.
Glens passion for football extended far beyond his time as a player. He returned to his roots at Hereford High School, where he coached from 2000 to 2004, leaving a lasting impact on countless young athletes. His dedication and contributions were recognized when he was inducted into the Hereford Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014an honor he cherished deeply. In recent years, he found immense joy coaching his nephews for the Hereford Rec Football program starting in 2021, passing on his knowledge and love of the game to the next generation.
But as much as Glen loved football, his greatest pride was his family. He was married to his best friend and love of his life, Kristie (nee Blizzard), for 24 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and unwavering support. Glen was a devoted father to Kaitlyn, who was the light of his life. He embraced his role as a "dance dad" with enthusiasm and pride, never missing a moment to cheer her on. He even took the stage with her when given the opportunityproving that his love knew no bounds.
Glens love for his family extended beyond his home. He was a cherished son to Joanne, and a loyal and loving brother to C. Michael Warner and his wife Tiffany, and R. Andrew Warner and his wife Holly. He was the proud uncle of Drew and Brooks, along with Molly, Emma, Michael, and Jessicaeach of whom brought him so much joy.
Glen was known for his quick wit and warm heart. His presence lit up any room, and his love for his family and friends was evident in everything he did. He lived life with purpose and passion, whether he was on the sidelines coaching, cheering from the stands, or sharing quiet moments with those he loved most.
Glen leaves behind a family who adored him, friends who admired him, and a community that was made better by his presence. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Viewings will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 3:005:00 PM and 7:009:00 PM at Evan's Funeral Home, 16924 York Road, Monkton, MD. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 16530 Trenton Church Road, Upperco, MD 21155.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Hereford Rec Football Program in his honor.
