William Watts Obituary

Watts, William Frank Was born to Edith James Mitchell and the late Hilder Joe Watts. He was reared in Pampa, TX and graduated from Amarillo High School in 1963. He relocated to Denver Colorado where he attended Southern Colorado State in 1968; he moved to Dallas, TX and obtained an engineering degree from UTA. He joined the arm services in 1971, with the E company 3rd Battalion 2nd Brigade 4th platoon. He served as an Artillery Survey Specialist for the US Army. He obtained a national defense service medal during this period. He worked for Texas Highway Department for 29 1/2 years and for the City of Dallas for 7 1/2 years and retired in 2010. He was preceded in death by his brother Roy Watts, son Maurice Watts, stepchildren Donald Hughes and Elaine Edwards, Terry Edwards. He leaves to cherish his memory beloved wife Beverly Watts. His mother Edith James, sister Hazel Watts, sister in law Olga Watts, sons Marcus and Bryant , Gerald, Thomas, Brandon and Vernon, daughters Caprice , Cynthia, 21- Grandchildren, 23- Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.
