William Pless Weeks was born in Austin Arkansas on December 5, 1934, to Floyd Daniel Weeks and Nettie Mae Weeks. On November 16, 2023, he passed away peacefully at his home in Romance, Arkansas supported by his family.
William embodied the American dream of using hard work, ingenuity, and dedication to achieve your goals. He started his own equipment rental company, W-B Rental, and was able to create a legacy of providing and protecting the family he loved. William was a lifetime member at Floyd Assembly of God. In less than a month William would have been 89.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Lucille Weeks, son Rickey Weeks, both parents, brothers Loyd Weeks and James Weeks, an infant brother Floyd Weeks, and sister Dorothy Johnson.
He is survived by his daughter Sandy Anderson, four grandchildren with seven great grandchildren: Richie and Candee Weeks with their children Nathan and Hanna, Tamara and Dustin Atkin with their children Drake and Falon, April and Casey Reid with their son Roman, Matt and Amber Clark with their children Michael and Trinity.
Visitation will be held at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr., in Beebe, Arkansas on Tuesday November 21st at 1pm. Funeral service will follow at 2pm, with entombment in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. To view the online registry please visit www.smithfamilycares.com/westbrook.
