William "Bill" Dale Wells, 75, entered into eternity on Friday, October 11, 2024, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Bill was born on March 19, 1949, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late William and Mildred (Cowling) Wells.
A retired media specialist, Bill was the former owner of Interactive Media Lab and Tradewinds Ice Cream. His entrepreneurial spirit, combined with his passion for creativity, made him a respected figure in his field. Beyond his professional life, Bill was a devoted member of Northside Christian Church in New Albany, where his faith guided and strengthened him throughout his life.
Bill had a deep love for the outdoors, particularly enjoying camping and fishing, and was a proud member of the Silver Creek Conservation Club. He was known for being a "jack of all trades" and could fix or build just about anything with his hands, always willing to help others with his skills.
Bill also had a special place in his heart for dogs, especially his beloved Weimaraners, who were always by his side as loyal companions.
Survivors include his loving wife of 19 wonderful years, Artis Wells of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, his daughter, Katie Blieden (Bill) of Louisville, Kentucky, his step-daughter, Allison Ramsey (Greg) of Mount Prospect, Illinois, his step-son, Adam Norton (Amelia) of Sellersburg, Indiana and his mother-in-law, Norma Lee Best of Floyds Knobs, Indiana. Bill also leaves his three grandchildren to cherish his memory, Addison, Lua and Elara.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow at St. Mary of the Knobs Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Bill. Bill and Artis were always up to fostering Weimaraners and adopted a few from LWR. We appreciate their support over the years. Bill will be missed.

With a heavy heart, Pamela and I wish to extend our sincere condolences to Artis, Katie and the entire family.

I never met a man more respected than Bill Wells. He was a true renaissance man!

Thank you Bill, for the most "Excellent Adventure" a man could hope for.
