Age 72 of Trafford, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022. He was born on September 22, 1949 to the late William and Mary (Lovis) Whitney. He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Louise Whitney; children, Angela Burke, Dale Whitney, and Scott (Sara) Whitney; grandchildren, Cameron Nesky, Whitney Burke, Joey Burke, Jordan Whitney, Cooper Whitney, Maddy Whitney; great-grandson, Carter Nesky; brothers, John (Joann) Whitney and Ronald (Susan) Whitney. William was preceded in death by his brother, Jay Whitney and by his sister, Rose Marie Blackburn. Family and friends will be received on Thursday August 4, 2022, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747), where a funeral service will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his wife, Cynthia to assist with final expenses. www.jobefuneralhome.com.
