William Winner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by David G. Martens & Son Funeral Home on Feb. 11, 2026.
William Terry Winner; (Billy) Born 1955-2026. Age 70 years old.

William T. Winner, age 70 of North Ridgeville, Ohio went home to Jesus whilst surrounded

by his wife, Serena Lee Winner and loved ones, on February 9, 2026 at 9:25 am.

William Winner, (Billy) was born in North Olmsted, Ohio on May 9, 1955 to William Winner

and Dorothy (nee Kocisky) (parents deceased). To have had the honor to know Billy was to know infinite

love, compassionate laughter, and sincere camaraderie. The passing of Billy Winner

marks the end of an exceptional unparalleled era. Billy was the true definition of a

Renaissance man! A self-taught master of all trades. Including carpentry, mechanics,

masonry, scuba-diving, boating and fishing, motorcycling, eclectic artwork and unique,

witty masterpieces which include, but not limited to, an array of snow sculptures; such as

"Easter Island", which even caught the attention of news outlets! Whether Billy was

crafting an outhouse from the ground up for a client like Chik-Fil-A, repairing an engine,

wrenching on his Harley Davidson, building a garden, or exploring the depths while scuba

diving as, "The Aqua Man", Billy Winner approached every challenge and journey with

fearless ingenuity and a stead-fast "can-do spirit", which he carried with him until he was

called Home. William Winner was the epitome of a genuine man with infinite honesty and

integrity. With a name like "Winner", Billy lived up to his name as a man who surpassed all

expectations of being a wonderful human being, a man of God, an exceptional "Winner".

William(Billy) Winner was preceded in death by William Winner (Father), Dorothy (Mother)

Robert Winner (Brother), Alice (Sister) and is survived by his wife, Serena Lee Winner; Sister, Jane (husband; Bob) Hambleton, Brothers: George, Tommy, Richard (Bobbie), Herb (Debbie), Joe, and Jimmy; and
