William (Bill) Zirzow, 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2024. A man of many talents and few words enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, family and friends the most. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his wife (Joan), sons Brian (Lynn) Zirzow, Kevin (Amanda) Zirzow, daughter Karen (Brad) Joda and 3 grandchildren Samantha, Jake and Brooke.
The son of William and Leila Zirzow was born on April 28, 1939, in Chicago.
On September 7, 1962, he married his wife of 62 years Joan Peterson at our Savior Lutheran Church, Chicago, Il.
Preceded in death by sister Elaine (Fred) Schulz, survived by his brother Robert (Carol) Zirzow and several nephews & nieces – John, David, Charles, Julie, Suzanne and Jeff.
Donations in Bill's memory can be made to the International Multiple Myeloma Foundation. 4400 Coldwater Canyon, Ste.300 Studio City, CA 91604

Bill has been our friend for at least 63 years. The best husband to Joan and he loved to share sports with his boys Brian & Kevin and time with Karen.
We shared many memories and halloween, parties and dinners with both He and Joan and our other friends.
