William "Bill" L. Zoellick, 97, of Watertown, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Park Ridge in Watertown.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Karl Walther officiating. Relatives and friends may gather at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia. Memorials, if desired, would be appreciated to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, St. Mark's Lutheran School or to the St. John's Radio WTKM broadcast. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Online condolences may be left at www.HafemeisterFH.com.
William Louis Zoellick was born on April 20, 1928 in Watertown to William and Violet (Eggert) Zoellick. On November 12, 1955 he married Jane Zastrow at St. John's Lutheran Church in Watertown.
Bill worked at 7-UP Bottling Company in Watertown his whole working career, retiring as a Plant Manager.
Bill served in the United States Army during the Korean War being discharged as a Corporal and earning a Purple Heart. He enjoyed birdwatching, gardening, listening to polka music, and his Friday board meetings with his brothers.
He is survived by his wife Jane Zoellick of Watertown; three sons: Mark (Faith) Zoellick of Watertown, Roger Zoellick of Epping, NH, Paul (Pamela) Zoellick of Watertown; ten grandchildren: Rachel Zoellick, Michelle (Tom) Stansfield, Peter Zoellick, Erin (Nathan) Oriol, Luke Zoellick, Nicole (Mason) Degner, Corey Zoellick, Jeremy Zoellick, Bridget Zoellick, Hailey Zoellick; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers: Charles (Delores) Zoellick of Watertown, Richard (Darlene) Zoellick of Watertown; sister-in-law, Alayne Zoellick of Watertown; as well as nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; son, Philip Zoellick; five brothers and two sisters.
