Survivors include his wife, Kevelyn Fox-Moore, son Kenyatta Lagrone, son Marcus Fox (Tamika), son Willie Moore III (Trish), son Kyle Moore, son Justin Moore (Jessica), sister Marjorie Wilson (Marlon), and sister Venessa Moore.
He was preceded in death by Willie Moore, Sr, Marie Moore, Juanita Moore, Curtis Moore, and Jeffrey Moore.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 26, 2024 at 10 AM, with visitation at 9 AM, at Philippians Missionary Baptist Church, 615 S. Chicago in Freeport.

HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY TO THE LATE GREAT MR. DJ. MEMORIES OF YOU WILL LIVE ON IN THE COUNTLESS LIVES YOU TOUCHED BEFORE GOD CALLED YOU HOME. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE LAUGHTER, WISDOM, AND INSIGHT THAT WILL CONTINUE TO THRIVE HERE ON EARTH. I HONOR YOU ON THIS FRIDAY JUNE 6, 2025, A YEAR INTO LIFE WITHOUT YOU FOR YOUR WIFE - MRS. DJ, KIDS, AND GRANDS AS WELL. WHEN I GOT THE NOTIFICATION TO POST I HAD TO SAY A FEW WORDS. IT DOES NOT FEEL LIKE A WHOLE YEAR SINCE GOD CALLED YOU HOME. BLESSED WAS THE TIME I GOT TO KNOW YOU AS ONE OF MY BUS DRIVERS, AND ON YOUR FACEBOOK MUSIC GROUP. I KNOW YOUR LOOKING DOWN SMILING AT HOW YOU WIFE, MRS. DJ, AND HER ADMINISTRATION, CONTINUE TO CARRY ON YOUR LEGACY. MY BIBLE TELLS ME TO BE ABSENT FROM THE BODY IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD. WE ALL STILL HOLD YOU NEAR TO OUR HEARTS. I NICK-NAMED, AND CALLED WILLIE - "MR. DJ" BECAUSE OF HIS HIGH SKILL SET OF MUSIC, AND THE KNOWLEDGE HE HAD OF IT WAS ENDLESS. HE WAS ALSO ONE OF MY BUS DRIVERS OF THE PRETZEL BUS. I JOINED HIS MUSIC GROUP- MUSIC FOR THE HEART AND SOUL GROUP- ON FACEBOOK, AND THERE BECAME DELIGHTED IN HIS OLD SCHOOL MUSICAL TALENT, AND REVELATIONS. UPON BEING ONE OF THE MEMBERS OF HIS OWN CHARTERED MUSIC GROUP, I BECAME AQUAINTED WITH HIS WIFE-"MRS. DJ" - KEVELYN FOX-MOORE. WHEN HE WAS MY BUS DRIVER, I OFTEN ENJOYED HIS STORIES ABOUT HIM AND HIS WIFE. EVENTS SUCH AS BIRTHDAYS, ANNIVERSARY, KIDS, AND GRANDCHILDREN WERE HIS PRIMARY TOPIC. HE WOULD LIGHT UP TALKING ABOUT MRS. DJ. I LOVED THAT. HE WAS A KIND, AND CARING MAN, LEAVING BEHIND A LEGACY OF LOVE THAT WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED IN THE COUNTLESS LIVES WHOSE PATHS HE CROSSED, INCLUDING MY OWN. I WILL MISS YOU MR. DJ. AND MRS. DJ, YOU WERE THE CENTER OF HIS WORLD. YOU DO NOT GRIEVE ALONE, WE ALL ARE HERE WITH YOU. - RESPECTFULLY, MAY GOD CONTINUE TO HOLD YOU AND YOUR FAMILY, AND SMILE OVER YOU ALL- ENDLESS BLESSINGS -MRS.
