Willie Martin "Bill" Pinkston

WILLIE "BILL" MARTIN PINKSTON, 72, of Louisville passed on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Norton Clark Hospital after a long journey with Lewy Body Dementia. He was born March 19, 1951 to the late Willie Mae Neal Pinkston and Thomas Martin Pinkston.
Bill had a varied career focusing primarily in sales as a Territory Sales Manager for outdoor power equipment distributors.
Bill loved God, his wife, his children, and his six grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He loved his pets, all animals, the ocean (especially Cocoa Beach), Nascar, Diet Coke and bologna sandwiches. Ever the salesman, he loved talking, a good story, and a good joke. He loved to laugh, even at himself. Bill loved Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life and Christmas music.
He leaves a hole in our hearts that can only be filled with memories and stories of him.
He is preceded in death by his sisters Betty Jo Schafer and Sandra Craig.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Kathy Hall Pinkston, his daughter Andrea Pinkston Ritman (Aaron), his son Chad Martin Pinkston (Lisa), his grandchildren Ava, Evelyn, Isaac and Nathan Ritman and Benjamin and George Pinkston. He is also survived by his brother Steve Pinkston (Theresa) as well as numerous well-loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 am until 12 Noon on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home Jeffersontown 10600 Taylorsville Rd. His Funeral Service will begin after visitation at Noon on Monday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Jeffersontown Cemetery.
