Willie Mae Thompson

Willie Mae Thompson age 93 of 1400 Wilson Rd Iva SC, passed July 25, 2023, at her residence. She was born in McCormick County and was the daughter of the late Steve Harris and Maggie Harris Williams. She was married to the late Guynell Thompson and was a dedicated member of the United House of Prayer for All People there she served as an usher and a missionary. Survivors include three daughters Jannie R. Johnson of Iva SC, Rosella Brown, and Ruby Mc Alister both of Anderson SC. One son Eddie Thompson. Willie Mae was the last survivor of her immediate family and was preceded in death by her parents, three daughters Gloria Ann Singleton and Willie Mae Bradley, Alberta Thompson, two sons Jimmy Thompson and Steve Thompson, six sisters Catherine Harris, Corrie Wideman, Kate Mae Hammond, Mamie Ruth Harris, and Pearlina Harris, five brothers Woodrow Harris, Archie Harris, Claude Harris, George Harris, and Charles Harris. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12:00 Noon at United House of Prayer for all People,
burial will follow at Pleasent Hill Baptist Church. Public viewing will be Friday from 2:00-6:00P.M. at Foggie-Holloway Funeral Home. The family will be at 1400 Wilson Rd, Iva, SC.
