Willis L. "Willy" Goss, Sr., 93, of Reedsville, passed away on Monday September 26, 2022 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born October 27, 1928 in McClure, he was the son of the late Roy and Emma (Sigler) Goss. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Rosie (Peterson) Goss; his son, Willis Goss, Jr.; and siblings, Esther Abbott, Helen Rossman, Carl Goss, Earl Goss, and three infant brothers
Willy is survived by his daughter, Constance McMinn and husband Kirk, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Kelly Manning and husband Ryan, of Rock Ledge, FL, Kerry Lake and husband Luke, of Lewistown, Brendan Goss and wife Lisa, of Salsbury, MD, and Nicholas Goss and wife Lauren, of Lititz; and great-grandchildren, Ian, Carter, Colin, and Lucy Manning, Addison and Oakley Lake, and Caroline and Julia Goss; and his companion, Betty Kreiling, of Reedsville.
He honorably and faithfully served his country in The United States Army.
Willy was a long-time, devoted member of St. Mark Alfarata Lutheran Church. He owned and operated Willy's Body Shop for 30 years, retiring in 1992. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting coins and building birdhouses.
A funeral service in loving memory of Willy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday October 1, 2022 at King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown with Pastor Rich Beck officiating. There will be a viewing held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Willy's memory are respectfully encouraged to: St. Mark Alfarata Lutheran Church, 573 Alfarata Rd, Lewistown, PA 17044.
