With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Wilma Andrepont, who left this world on July 1, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family in the comfort of her home. A Service to celebrate her remarkable life will take place on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice, followed by a burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Wilma was born on July 22, 1940, to Wilmer and Lilly Marcot Doucet. Her life was marked by an unwavering love for the Lord and a deep commitment to her family. She cherished her time spent in Bible studies and exemplified selflessness in her relationships. As a mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Wilma touched the lives of many, and her absence will be felt profoundly by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Randy Andrepont, Chet Andrepont and wife, Bernadette, Scott Andrepont and wife, Sheila—all residing in Eunice—and Sheri Andrepont of Ville Platte. She will also be remembered by her sisters, Shirley Doucet Hill from Mississippi, Anita Doucet Decker from Evangeline, Annette Doucet Touchet from Jennings, as well as Wanda Doucet Simor and Carolyn Doucet Clay from Evangeline. Her legacy continues through her eleven grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren, each carrying forward a part of her love, strength, and grace.
Wilma has been reunited in spirit with her husband of fifty-seven years, Aubrey Allen Andrepont, and her beloved parents, Wilmer and Lilly. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne Doucet, Larry Doucet, and sisters, Linda Doucet LaCombe and Joyce Doucet Louviere.
The family invites you to join them in remembrance during visitation on Friday, July 4th, from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and again on Saturday, July 5th, from 8:00 AM until the service begins.
