Wilma Colleen Enochs, age 73, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 7:59 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at her home. She was born August 20, 1952, in Stotts City, Missouri, the daughter of Edgar Clinton and Dorothy Marie (Pope) Huff.

Colleen was a 1970 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and worked at Schrieber Foods and Mid Am in Mt. Vernon. She loved scrapbooking, taking trips with her sisters and was a member of the Mt. Vernon Church of Christ. Colleen and her husband, James Taylor, were also foster parents.

Colleen married James Taylor in March of 1983, and he preceded her in death in September 2002. On October 1, 2004, she married Rodney William Enochs, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.

Colleen is survived by her husband of 20 years, Rodney; one son, Joseph McKinzie and his wife, Tracy, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; two daughters, Jenny Groves and her husband, David, of Ash Grove, Missouri and Janetta Rose and her husband, Kevin, of Park, Colorado; nine grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; two stepsons, Michael Enochs of Lead Hill, Arkansas and Matthew (Jessica) Enochs of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; one stepdaughter, Evonne (Nick) Souders, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; ten step-grandchildren; four sisters, Ellen Merritt of Bentonville, Arkansas, Phyllis Stirewalt of Aurora, Missouri, Joann (David) Brown of Golden City, Missouri and Mary Jane (John) Lockhart of Lowell, Arkansas; two sisters-in-law, Shirely Huff of Joplin, Missouri and Linda Huff of Jonesboro, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.

Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar, and Dorothy; her husband, James Taylor; one grandson, Marty Groves; two brothers, Johnny and Jimmy Huff and two brothers-in-law, Jim Merritt and Randy Stirewalt.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon. Burial will follow at the Union Cemetery at Stotts City, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025, in the funeral home chapel.
