Mrs. Wilma Jean Collett Roberts born in Hyden, KY on May 8th, 1942 passed peacefully on Jan. 29, 2025. She was a retired nurse of 40 years, working at Mary Breckinridge and Laurel Creek nursing home, where she loved her residents. Her family was her whole world, she loved cooking, crocheting and traveling.
Wilma was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Kenneth R. Roberts, her parents, Rose and Frank Collett, 4 sisters: Evelyn Philpot, Grace Jones, Connie Gilbert, Linda Smith and one brother: Bobby Collett. One son in law; Ricky Shell, whom she loved like a son.
She leaves surviving her 4 children: Sherry (John) Hacker, Richmond, KY, Gregory (Greg Phipps) Roberts, New Albany, IN, Mary Roberts Shell, Hoskinston, KY and Kenneth (Linda) Roberts, Jr. Corbin, KY, 4 sisters and 2 brothers: Cathy (Sam) Frisby, Flagler Beach, Florida, Sandy Henson, Louisville, KY, Betty Morris, Big Creek, KY, Tina Huff, London, KY, Donnie (Marlene) Collett, Bethal, Ohio and Eugene Collett, London, KY, 5 grandchildren: Megan(Trent) Pettus, Tessa (Austin) Eldridge, Michael Roberts, Tammy Roberts and Jamie Roberts and 3 great grandchildren who was the joy of hef life: Lilly Grace, Everett Greer and Ellison Kate.

Visitation: Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Kentucky
A Private Graveside Service will be conducted!
