Wilma Swafford Smith

Wilma Swafford Smith of Otter Creek, age 65, passed away on January 11, 2026, at AdventHealth of Manchester. She was born on April 12, 1960 in Oneida, Kentucky, to the late Hobert and Lizzie Swafford.
Wilma was a devoted member of the Whitehall Baptist Church. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, faith, and love for her family and friends. Her presence will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Wilma is survived by her loving husband, Kenny Smith of Otter Creek; her children, Tammy Wagers and husband Johnny, and Kenny Darrell Smith; grandchildren, Morgan McKenna Wagers, John Kennon Wagers, and Keyhunna Lashae Smith; siblings, Amos Swafford of Manchester, Lester Swafford and wife Chasity of London, Pauline Eversole and husband Lawrence of Otter Creek, and Judy Ann Smith of Mill Creek; and her beloved puppy, Kingston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hobert and Lizzie Swafford; and siblings, Roy Swafford, Clyde Swafford, and Joy Swafford White.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Britton Funeral Home, with Herman Mills officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM the same day at Britton Funeral Home. Wilma will be laid to rest at Swafford Cemetery on Otter Creek.
Wilma's memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
