Roy G. Bush

Roy G. Bush, age 60, of Stamping Ground, KY, passed away on February 16, 2026, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. Born on January 1, 1966, in Beverly, KY, Roy was a beloved member of his community and cherished by his family and friends.

Roy is survived by his children, Jonathan Bush and wife Robyn, and Heather Bush. He also leaves behind his siblings, Phillip Bush and Sherry Bush Marcum and husband Anthony, as well as nieces and nephews: Kyle Bush, Kayla Holt, Jamie Smith, Jacob Smith, Darrell Bush, Dustin Hubbard, Billy Hubbard, Whitney Marcum, Hope Marcum, and Kasie Smith. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Bush; and his parents, John and Bertha Stevens Bush.

A visitation will be held at Britton Funeral Home at 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2026, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM at the same location, with Mike Gray and Jamie Davis officiating.

Roy will be remembered for his kindness, dedication to his loved ones, and the positive impact he had on those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
