Wilma Jean Turner (nee Ellis), age 92, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025. She was born on March 30, 1933, in Jellico, Tennessee, to Truman and Roberta Ellis.

Wilma was preceded in death by her cherished husband of 63 years, Eddie Turner, as well as her parents, siblings, and her great-grandson, Tyler Harrell.

Wilma is survived by her two daughters, Yvonne Fay Turner and Dinah (Vince) Goff; her son, Kenneth Allen (Sharon) Turner; her grandchildren, Donald II (Tina) Loudermilk, Yvette (Mark) Vollmer, Kimberly Hernandez, Micah (Samantha) Preston, Angie (John) Goff, Vince Jr. Goff, Shawnta (Jobe) Martinez, Rachel (Caleb) Nye, and Nathanael (Megan) Turner; her great-grandchildren, Brian (Joanna), Julie, Justin (Brandy), Mackenzie (Connor), Olivia, Marlana, Alicia, Chyanne (Justin), Karina (Edwin), Alex, Roman, Isaac (Kaylin), Lincoln, Liam, Zoey, Elijah, Harper, Hudson, Malachi, Ezekiel, Gabrielle, Alethea, Obadiah, Dax, Lincoln, Enoch, Oden, Elias, Alexis, Luke and Aubri; her great-great-grandchildren, Tessa, Reid, Blake, Oaklynn, Jackson, Georgia, Johnathan, Melody, Adonis, Emerie and Alayah; and a host of other family members and friends.

Wilma had a deep love for her church and faith, often expressing her devotion through song. She found great joy in spending time with her family, whose presence always lit up her spirit. Her interests included shopping, reading, and doing word searches, and she was known for her love of cooking and hosting large family dinners.

A funeral ceremony honoring Wilma will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, with a visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Newport City Church of God, located at 401 Keturah Street, Newport, KY 41071. Following the service, entombment will take place at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Wilma Jean Turner will be remembered for her love, warmth, and unwavering spirit, leaving behind a legacy of family and faith that will be cherished by all who knew her.
